In collaboration with the Cancer Association of Namibia, we collaborated on a collection that empowers local Namibian women while shedding more light and awareness. 

A unique collection expressing all the different modern ethnic Namibian women. Grey is the theme.

This collection showcases the prominent ethnic Namibian tribes represented by their beautiful women. Each tribe is distinguished by the traditional attire and colors.  

This collection showcases the  ethnic Namibian child and our reminder to value and constantly connect to our own inner child. 

This collection showcases the prominent ‘Big Five’ but with a local Namibian twist. The colors used are the royal colors of the Oshiwambo Tribe used to represent the animals as ‘Spiritual Animals’ or ‘Ancestral Totems’. In cultural terms this reminds us of the inner spiritual connection that we all have with nature. If you also notice, the colors seamlessly blend together to form One big portrait from the 5.

This portrait aims to display one of  the most breathtaking Namibian  landscapes (Sossusvlei Dunes) and it’s main residents (the Oryx). Namibian nature in all its glory.

This collection showcases the graceful postures of the ‘African Spirit Muses’ that represent the vital elements of life : Water, Blood and Earth. 

This collection showcases the how ‘Black is Beautiful’ without having to limit it to old negative narratives and associations . This artistic style is  a fusion between the primitive and the modern while incorporating the different shades of black.

This portrait showcases ‘Mama Africa’ as a young, beautiful and vibrant entity. All the different colors and ethnic features embrace the combinations of our different cultures and values. In one phrase: Africa is ‘Colorful, Diverse and Beautiful’
